ATHLETIC PROGRAM

 

Our athletic program has always been basketball. But the athletic program has grown in the last decade, with the school now a member of its own M.I.A.A. regional division – the WCAC (Worcester Country Athletic Conference). Our current sports programs (both junior varsity and varsity) include:

  • Basketball

  • Soccer

  • Volleyball

  • Cross Country

 

WHY DO WE NEED A
SUPPORTERS CLUB?

The school’s athletic program is run entirely on fees – mainly from student dues. While other forms of revenue, including ticket sales, concession stands, gym rentals and private donations help the program, the cost placed on students in order to participate can be overly burdensome.

Running a sports program of this magnitude is expensive, with uniform maintenance, travel costs, referee fees and MIAA participation dues all paid on a yearly basis. If SLA hopes to continue offering a wide choice in interscholastic sports, it will need more help from additional sources.

HOW CAN I GET INVOLVED?

Helping the program is easy! We want to offer our alumni and supporters the chance to give the gift of sports to every student at SLA who wishes to participate. We offer three membership levels to choose from: Simply select one of the options below and pay the yearly membership fee, either at the school office or by going online to the payment options listed below. Don’t forget the perks though! Each membership level includes the following benefits:

$500 | “CRUSADER” MEMBERSHIP

  • Name printed on the "Crusader Club" section on the SLA Gym’s baseline area

  • Your own personalized Crusader jersey

  • Priority seating in the "Booster Box" area, with wait service for food and beverages for all home games

$100 | "PIONEER” MEMBERSHIP

  • Priority seating in the "Supporters Box" area with wait service for food and beverages for all home games

  • Your own limited edition Crusader "Supporters Club" athletic cap

$250 | “SUPPORTER” MEMBERSHIP

  • Priority seating in the "Supporters Box" area, with wait service for food and beverages for all home games

  • Your own limited edition Crusader "Supporters Club" t-shirt and athletic cap

  • Crusader Card that provides free admission to all home games
